I first discovered Notion while building a roller skating course business. Not because someone recommended it — but because I needed a way to keep track of students, schedules, progress, and payments without losing my mind across three different apps.

At first, it was a simple to-do list. Then a student tracker. Then a full operations system. I didn't realise I was building a system — I thought I was just getting organised.

That roller skate business taught me something I didn't expect: the system you build around your work matters as much as the work itself. A poorly run backend will kill a great product. A clean system gives a mediocre one a fighting chance.

Before the business, I worked as a shadow teacher — supporting students with special needs in structured learning environments. That role taught me something critical: clarity and structure aren't optional for the people who need them most.

Watching how structure (or its absence) directly affected learning and confidence planted a seed. Every person deserves a system that works for how they think — not a system designed for someone else.

That insight followed me into Notion. When I started helping friends and small business owners set up their workspaces, I noticed the same pattern: they weren't struggling because they were disorganised people. They were struggling because their system wasn't designed for them.

Today I run khlasify as a full-time freelance practice — consulting with founders, managers, and creatives to build operational systems that replace scattered tools and fragmented thinking.

I also build and sell Notion templates: ready-to-use systems designed around the same minimalist principles I apply to every client project. Not "aesthetic" templates — functional infrastructure you'll actually open every morning.

Beyond client work, I run @minimiawlist — a separate content brand about minimalist living and slow rituals. Two cats. Morning coffee. The belief that less, done intentionally, is always enough.

The name khlasify comes from "classify" — because that's exactly what I do. I take complex, tangled operations and bring them into order. One workspace. One source of truth. Everything in its place.

Templates are a starting point, not a solution. A beautiful Notion template that doesn't fit how you think will be abandoned in two weeks. I've seen it happen — I've done it myself.

That's why every client engagement starts with understanding the workflow first. The databases, the views, the automations — those come after we understand the actual problem. Tools don't create clarity. Thinking does. Tools implement it.

This is the difference between a system designer and a Notion creator. One builds infrastructure. The other builds interfaces.
